Aperture, Shutter Speed, & Iso


Aperture.

F16 or higher

1. What part of the body should we closely relate aperture?
The human eyes, the pupil.

2. Finish this sentence - the smaller the Aperture  f-stop, the higher the Aperture f-stop.

3. In your own words tell me how aperture impacts Depth of Field?
Depth of field depends on the chosen aperture & the chosen focus point where objects appear to be sharp.

1. At the beginning while the sun is still partially up and the courtyard has reasonable light 
a.) the dunking booth - High shutter speed
b.) the food eating contest - High shutter speed
c.) the rock climbing wall - High shutter speed
d.) someone working at a booth - High shutter speed
e.) the DJ/MC working at the middle of the circle - High shutter speed
f.) the Diamonds performance. - High shutter speed

Towards the end when there is no sun and has gotten dark enough that you can't see from one end of the courtyard to the other.

Shutter priority mode : you set the shutter speed, & the camera automatically sets the aperture.

1.) What are the advantages of shoot at a higher ISO at a sporting event like basketball or a night football game?  Higher ISO increases the sensitivity of your camera, with increased sensitivity your camera sensor can capture images in low-light environments without having to use a flash.
2.) What suggestions did the author make about using a low ISO?  You should always try to stick to the lowest ISO of your camera.
3.)What suggestions did the author make about using a high ISO? You should increase the ISO when there is not enough light for the camera to be able to quickly capture an image.
